36 of the 44 from this source site were caught between 24-30 of May 2007 with two more catching days in June. One male was released back into the capture site because of male bias in the captured robins. These 35 birds were released within 1-2 days of their capture date at the Preserve. 24 (17 males, 7 females) of these original 35 robins have been re sighted, but the time is unknown. 9 more birds were caught between May 14- August 7, 2008 for release within 1-2 days of their capture date. Birds caught before 12:30pm were flown by helicopter to the Preserve (25 minutes away) and released on the same day. Birds caught in the afternoon were held overnight until the following morning and then flown by helicopter or driven (2.5 hours) to the Preserve and released at 10am. 24 (17 males, 7 females) of the original 35 robins transferred over in May-June 2007 have been re sighted, but the time is unknown. In TOTAL (2007 and 2008), 29 of the 44 (66%) of the robins have been resighted in or close to the Preserve after at least one month after release. 15 have not been resighted.
