*Early portion of this project has been considered a reintroduction due to the length of time birds remained in captivity (>3 months). From 1983-1985, birds were not held as long,(<3 months). *Unhatched eggs found to contain pesticides and chemical residues (though not at critical levels of other populations) (89) CAPTURE METHOD: Removed from nests. # CAPTURED: # is for entire project 1975-1985, including those released as reintroductions. SUPPLEMENTATION: Supplementary releases from 1993-1998. POPULATION SIZE: Estimated to be 80-90 individuals (both Rhum and Wester Ross)
