Notes: What's This?
Birds were raised in an attic where the windows were taken out. Therefore, the 'release' was considered to be at the same time as the acquisition of the animals. Acclimitization was allowed as soon as the birds were curious enough to leave the attic. Birds were trained to attach to their human foster parents and their migration tendencies were trained against. Birds were recaptured if they wandered too far from the site and returned to the attic. Birds were aquired in 1997 and 1998, with all groups living together in the attic making it hard to decifer between 'releases'.
