*Cross-fostered to wild Wedge-tailed Shearwater (P. pacificus) pairs *Foster parents chosen based on burrow characteristics *Eggs were translocated impossible to vaccinate or check for health *35 eggs hatched and 33 fledged. IUCN GUIDELINES: Program prior to development of guidelines in 1995. CAUSE OF DEATH: Failure to hatch. *by 2003, a couple of nests were found, they may have come from those original translocated birds
