SELECTION CRITERIA: Only colonies with young were chosen to maintain group cohesion after translocation.
MONITORING DURATION: Continuous monitoring for life of transmitters (3-9 weeks). Long term monitoring, of 3-4 week duration, also took place at 6 month intervals.
