Notes: What's This?
Between August 2006 and April 2008, 26 kokako were released in the Hanua in four separate translocations. This event took place between 27 May and 2 June 07, wherein there were 2 separate releases of the 4 kokakos. The source population was from Tiritiri Matangi. There was no sound decoy of kokakos upon release like in the other releases. There was no intensive monitoring, but a subsample of 6 pairs (release date unknown from 06-08) demonstrated 4 dependent fledglings. 2 of the 4 birds have been resighted since their release.
