2 pair (4 birds) of guam rails were soft released at Okgok, Rota Island. They were all equipped with transmitterrs, but no monitoring occurred so their fates are unknown. However, reproduction was documented and the birds are still seen at release site in 2008. Reinforcement was conducted. SURVIVAL 60 DAYS POST RELEASE: 100% of guam rails with transmitters. This is over the 3 soft releases at the Okgok release site on Rota Island (April 05, March 06, June 07).
