10 birds were released at Chenchon, Rota Island via soft release. All were equipped with transmitters, of which 5 died from cat predation, 4 unknown, 1 MIA, and 1 remained alive. This was an experimental soft release and reinforcement, but there was no population established at the site. Reproduction was documented. SURVIVAL 60 DAYS POST RELEASE: 30% of guam rails with transmitters.
