The release was in Saguagahga, Rota Island from Aug-Sept 1997 as reported by Paul Wenninger, Project Leader. All 19 were equipped with transmitters of which 1 died from cat predation, 1 starved, 3 were unknown deaths, 1 went MIA, and 1 "harn." Survivorshp data at the release site is incomplete and no population was established. A short-term population did establish, however, 2km away in Field/Edge habitat. reproduction was documented. Reinforcement was conducted.
