Notes: |
Imperial Eagles were released by hacking between 9-11 weeks old. They uised articial feeders, improve flight skills and performed first hunting attempts. Stayed within 3 km of the hacking point. Overall sex ratio was 1:1.
In 2006, the first pair of reintroduced eagles bred on a nest 150km from the release area with an existing breeding subpopulation.
