In 2004, RSPB embarked on this trial to test re-introduction techniques. The intention being to confirm that this method could be used to re-introduce cirl buntings back to some of their former range. These were the reintroductions of 06 and 07 to Cornwall, UK. However, in 2004 they took the chicks from Devon and reintroduced them back to Devon.
