Notes: |
Following the successful 2004 trial of reintroductions of an unknown number of cirl bunting chicks, the 2006 trial translocated 75 chicks to quarantine. 72 (96%) of these chicks were soft released into Cornwall following a disease risk assessment and heath monitoring. At least 24 survived to the following spring with 12 breeding attempts and at least 11-15 young.
