Notes: |
40 chicks were transferred to Matakohe-Limestone island on December 8th 2006. One bird was lost 6 nights after the blockade to the burrows were removed on 12/11. He was assumed to have died due to misadventure but the exact date is unknown and this is why the number survived after a week or month is a lower limit. Nonetheless, 39 chicks were assumed to successfully fledged with no deaths.
