Notes: What's This?
the reintroduction site is very close from the capture site (on the same island). Birds are moved just before fledging, hopefully they will identify the release site as their home and return there to breed in four or five years time. *A sound system playing taiko calls at the covenant lured at least one bird in 2008, but unfortunately not to breed. It was recorded by a video camera looking out over burrow entrances.
