ACCLIMATIZATION: Birds were released on a protected (but unfenced) eyrie before they could fly, so they got used to the area before they could leave it. MARKED W/: bleached some wing feathers. Will be visible until first molt at 2 years. BREEDING: Too young to breed at date of entry (2010). Bird's name is Ikarus. Ikarus was rescued from the wild in Sept '08 & re-released in June. Then he died the following December of an infection.
